Summary

St Mark, with a beard and long hair, is seated with his right hand held open in his lap. Hiis left arm is stretched out towards the page of an open book which reads, "to crucify Him." The Book is being held by a winged lion which is lying from right to left on a cloud behind the seated figure. The figure is wearing a cross on his robe and his expression is one of sorrow. A halo surrounds his head.
