Summary

A street side scene with a group of children on a door step playing Checkstones. A child sits above a drain and cobbled pavement in the foreground with back to viewer and a brick exterior wall to the left. A girl in a blue and white bonnet sits to the right and another child in red and white looks on. Two chldren sit at the back and to the right of the group hugging. A dog holds himself up by his paws against a wooden frame on the left to face the children in the foreground. Cloths and birdcage to the right background. In the interior in the background is a clock on a wall to the right and a curtain against a window to the left with a blue jug on the window sill. Bolted wooden cover on brick exterior wall to right. Leather or rope strung up on exterior wall to left.
