Que Pico de Oro! (What a Golden Beak!)

Francisco Goya Y Lucientes 1746 - 1828

Summary

A group of figures are sitting around a bird perched on a cage. The parrot is standing above them to the centre right, with its beak open and its right leg raised in front of it. It stands out from the dark background. Surrounding the cage are a number of grotesque figures, sitting and looking open mouthed at the parrot.
