Duendecitos (Hobgoblins)

Francisco Goya Y Lucientes 1746 - 1828

Summary

A group of three dwarves are in a cellar, wearing clerical robes and holding drinking cups. The figure in the center has a large right hand which he is holding in the air over his opposite shoulder. He has a happy look on his face. To the right of him one of the figures has a white cloak on, with a cone-shaped head and its eyes closed and a foot stretched out. On the right is a sitting figure with a bald head, he's looking down at his cup. There is a small vent with vertical bars in the back wall to the top right.
