Hulme Hall

H G James

Summary

A view of Hulme Hall, Manchester. The hall is framed by a tree in the left foreground and is partly hidden by a high garden wall to the right. The leaded window panes of the hall glitter in the centre of the picture, and the half-timbered gables and ramshackle tiled roofs can be seen to the right. A man and woman are conversing on a path this side of the wall, marked by a rustic fence.
