Barton Old Hall
Summary
View of Barton Old Hall, at Barton-upon-Irwell, near Manchester. The hall is drawn in a blocked-in, sketchy style, which makes it hard to see what style of building it is, but it seems to be a Tudor manor house with stone-mullioned windows. The house has a projecting wing on the left side. Smoke is coming from the large square chimney on the left of the house. Two figures walk in front, amongst the roughly-drawn grass and bushes which surround it.
