Summary

Portrait of an elderly man, seated. The subject is wearing a soft cap and a cloak over a buttoned suit. He has short wavy hair and a beard. His left hand is resting on the arm of his chair and he holds a long object in his right hand. To the right of the chair is a table with a bowl, a brush and a hammer on it. There are decorative heads to the left and right of the chair back.
