The Caravan Route
Albert Goodwin R.W.S. 1845 - 1932
Summary
An open and barren desert landscape with skeletons, including a human skull in the right bottom corner, resting on the sand in the foreground. In the centre middleground is a dark form, which is possibly a rocky outcrop; the sky is dramatic, ranging from ominous deep blues and purples directly above the horizon, to light rose-coloured clouds above.
