A blonde curly haired young lady wearing a wide brimmed straw hat with a white ostrich feather trimand holding a rose. Seen in profile to the right. Cloudy sky. This is a portrait of Miss Leigh (sister of Mrs. Wheatley, the artist's wife) who afterwards became Mrs. Troward. From the series Four Seasons - see 'Winter' 1945.54.
