Summary

A male figure wearing a toga is stood to the right with his hands clasped to his chest. He is facing towards a life size female scultpure on a plinth festooned with laurels to the left. A female figure floating in mid air to the far left places one hand on the head of the sculpture. A winged cherub floats in the air to the right, pointing an arrow at the sculpture. This drawing is a study for the painting "Pygmalion and Galatea" (1979.546) by Louis Gauffier.
