The Hundred Guilder Print

Léopold Flameng 1831 - 1911

Summary

The figure of Christ is standing at the centre, wearing a long robe and with His left hand raised, light radiating from His head. Surrounding Christ is a crowd of people, many of them showing signs of being sick or lame. There is a figure towards the far right lying on a cart. There are deep shadows to the upper right, a camel, cattle and more figures can be seen in the shadows. Many of the figures to the left are executed in line only.
