Summary

A multiple arched bridge stretches across a river that cuts through the centre of a town. There are several boats on the river. Two spires can be seen to the right and a large building with two towers is situated to the left. A crowd sit on another wooden bridge in the foreground, facing down the river. Most of the figures have their backs turned, although a few are facing forward. A small group of women can be seen with more detail to the right, where some roofs and trees mingle with what seems to be a hillside.
