Summary

Portrait of Wilbraham Egerton; short half-length directed to right, glancing at the viewer, arms at his side, wearing a dark double-breasted coat, paler cravat and pale stock, with a curtain behind to left. Wilbraham Egerton (1781-1856) was the eldest son of William Tatton, later Egerton, and inherited the Tatton Hall estate in 1806. He was later MP for Cheshire from 1812 to 1831. Published by Thomas Agnew & Sons in 1842.
