Summary

Crucifixtion with Christ's blood being caught in a chalice to the left. The cross is being held up from behind by the figure of God the Father. The Holy Spirit appears as a dove at the top of the cross, seen from above with its wings out spread and holding the host in its mouth. There is an inscription in the border around the image: THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD OF THE NEW & / ETERNAL TESTAMENT THE MYSTERY / OF WHICH SHALL BE SHED FOR YOU & FOR MANY / UNTO THE REMISSION OF SINS
