Miss Jenny and Miss Nelly Bennet
Giuseppe Marchi 1735 - 2 Apr 1808
Summary
Two young girls, three-quarter length and facing the observer. The taller on the right has her left hand around the smaller with her other arm in front of her. They were the daughters of the printseller (who was for a short time the partner of R. Sayer) and the print is inscribed 'The Sisters'. There may be, therefore, an after state.
