Summary

A shallow box painted blue with a triangular roof. The inside is painted red with three different shells painted in white and pink. The word 'vulnerables' is painted below, expressing the threat posed to these particular shells. The structure of the wooden base in grey and blue resembles funeral architecture, specifically a coffin. This work is from a series which commemorates certain plants threatened with extinction; each work is a shrine to various endangered species of plant or shell.
