London Road Station I
Summary
An expressionistic painting depicting a train station (perhaps London Road station of Manchester, now called Piccadilly Station). On the left one can see scattered figures walking down the platform, and two stationary trains on their tracks to the right. The trains and figures are depicted in blacks browns, and reds. The solid supporting archways of the station are in black, but the soft cloudy white is perhaps representative of the light shining through the glass panes of the roof.
