Summary

Invitation to a social gathering at the Limners' Club in Manchester to be held on Wednesday October 10th 1883. The evening is to begin with a supper in honour of the designer of the card, P. Cameron, who is shortly to depart to America. He is depicted in a comic fashion, mounted backwards on an old nag of a Pegasus which flies in front of the moon, Cameron barely retaining hold of his artists' materials and luggage, as a small winged dog flies alongside.
