Buildings by a Stream

Basil Gill 1876 - 1955

Summary

An abstracted, deserted landscape depicting buildings by a stream, with a pink bridge running diagonally off to the right and a small rowing boat moored in the stream. Three simple geometric, triangular shapes sit alongside the recognisable building. The semi-abstract effect is added to by the strong blocks of colour which suggest reflections in the water.
