A factory scene depicting four people at work. Three overall-wearing men stand stationed at large, silver multi-spindle drilling machines with a conveyor belt in the foreground. The central figure turns to his left and reaches to lift a piece of machinery off the belt. On the far right, a woman wearing a blue cap and overalls is stationed at a smaller drilling machine. The scene depicts drilling machines engineering cylinders on Rolls Royce Merlin X V12 aircraft-engine blocks.
