Summary

A street view down a narrow alley. A sign above reads "BULLS HEAD/ HOTEL". On the right, a colourful lamp is protruding from the wall of a building, on it is also written "BULLS/ HEAD". In the foreground is a man wearing a falt cap and a white apron. People can be seen further back in the alleyway going about thier business. The canvas is dominated by creams and whites, visible in the pavement stones and the majority of the buildings, these tones are punctuated by the dark wood of the right hand shop, and the gold and blue of the "BULLS HEAD" sign.
