Summary

A small, stylised head-and-shoulders portrait of Colonel Rosworm (died c1675). Rosworm was a German or Dutch soldier who fought on the Parliamentary side in the English Civil War. He led the defence of the city of Manchester in 1642. Rosworm is shown as having shoulder-length hair, and he wears lace at his throat.
