Bakehouse Court
Summary
View looking down a narrow, sunlit, city street. Old timber houses with tiled roofs can be seen on both sides. A man and child are walking away from us, down the street. The houses are picturesquely run-down, and the image is painted in a soft, grainy style, making it seem attractive and nostalgic, although this is clearly not a rich area, and in the middle of the cobbles is an open drain.
