Summary

View of Ardwick Cemetery, a flat burial ground neatly laid out, with lettered rectangular gravestones paving a lot of the nearest portion of ground. Bushes and trees are dotted around, as are larger standing graves, and visiting people. At the far side of the cemetery are two larger mausoleums, the size of small houses. In the foreground to the left, surrounded by bushes, is a tomb which bears the family name of the artist, ('CALVERT') and a date, which although slightly unclear could be '1839'.
