Assize Courts
Summary
Corner view looking at a large Gothic style building: the assize courts in Manchester, built1859-64, destroyed by bombing in 1940-41. The entrance can be seen up some steps and under three archways. A tower with a pointed roof can be seen rising from behind the rest of the building. On the right hand side of the roof, is a flag pole with a red flag attatched. In front of the building, on the road can be seen two horse drawn carriages.
