Ordsall Hall near Manchester
Summary
A large hall fills most of the image, it has a tiled and pitched roof. A large arched entrance can be seen centre right. Small bushes are in the foreground. This is Ordsall Hall, in Salford: the distinctive quatrefoil shapes that decorate its facade can be seen in the most shadowed corner. The building has been drawn in a style that gives light lines and dark corners to the architecture. It is shaded in places with a sandy watercolour wash.
