Tracings of Inscriptions on Windows, Manchester Cathedral
Summary
Five black ink drawings of tracings of inscriptions from Manchester Cathedral, taken from the Owen manuscript and mounted together. They are numbered: '1' (the first drawing); '2' (the second drawing); and '3' (the last three drawings together). An inscription in pen below gives their source as '1 &2 from the "Angel" Window' and '3. Perhaps from one of the 'Mary' Windows in the Clerestory'. Each is an outline of gothic script contained within different oblong shapes as though traced from separate fragments of stained glass.
