Chapel at Denton, near Manchester 1879

Summary

A small timber chapel, with tiled and pitched roof. View looking at the side of the building. On the roof can be seen a small, square wooden structure with slatted vents. In front of the building are grave stones. In the foreground is a dirt road, on the left is a woman with a baby on her back, on the right is a boy sat on a mule and a man stood with a mule, which has two baskets strapped across its back. There is also a boy with a dog. Next to the road is a wall, with a wodden roffed gate, which surrounds the chapel.
