Summary

Four elderly men in dark-coloured working clothes and caps seated round a wooden table playing cards. A fifth man stands to the right, with his hands behind his back and a pipe in his mouth, observing the game, as the right hand seated man lays down his cards. There are plain, bare walls behind.
