Adjustment on the Rolling Platform

Tom Purvis 27/08/1888 - 1959

Summary

A detailed drawing of two men working on a twin 40mm Bofors gun. The men stand either side of the gun on a platform which is tilted to the right. (the platform represents the rolling of a ship and the gyroscopic mechanism provides for the guns to remain level.) The gun is surrounded by low railings.
