Summary

Pencil drawing of a boy, seated on cushion, holding top. Wears dress with low square neck, full short sleeves and frill at hem; set in oval mount; oval gilt frame with moulded decoration at top, bottom and sides. On back in ink 'George Price at 14 months old, son of Richard Fowler and Rachel Price, born at Birmingham, December 6th 1837. Married at Luton, Bedfordshire, on the 10th of May 1865 to Maria Louisa, eldest daughter of Joshue and Maria Knight, born in London on 25th of August 1838. Picture re-framed May 21st 1866. Children Hilda born July 17th 1867, died September 23rd 1867 Leopold born August 31st 1868.
