Startled Mallard

Stanley Reginald Wilson 1890 - 1973

Summary

This image shows mallard ducks in a wetland with reeds growing in either lower corner of the composition. Two birds are in flight; one at the upper left and the other at the lower centre. The head of a third duck can be seen at the right edge. Markings in the foreground suggest some kind of stream recessing backwards into the composition. The image relays nothing of the background of the scene.
