Summary
A riverside embankment with an arched footbridge. A crowd of people are looking over the embankment wall to the centre right. The footbridge leads to the left from the centre left and has rising steps. There are buildings on the opposite bank of the river. The masts of ships can be seen to the right edge but the river is unseen.
